Dr. Debra Dupree

Dr. Debra Dupree

Dr. D is a dynamic speaker with nearly 30 years of experience as a corporate consultant and keynote speaker. She has worked with companies like Teradata, Yamaha, and Stanford University, delivering leadership solutions and training programs for professional development. Debra, a Business Coach and Relationship Consultant, has also served as President of CARRP and Director of Training for MTI. With over 25 years of experience in mediation and facilitating the interactive process, she has guided numerous organizations through strategic change, consistently delivering spectacular results..

Dr. Diana Fox

Dr. Diana Fox, a cultural and applied anthropologist and documentary film producer, focuses on gender and sexual diversity, women’s social movement activism, and human rights in the Anglophone Caribbean. She is the Founder and Editor of the Journal of International Women’s Studies and serves on several boards. Her films, like Earth, Water, Woman and Many Loves, One Heart, highlight activism and resilience in Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. Recipient of four Fulbright awards, she has published numerous books and articles, and produced educational and activist films. She is on leave beginning September 1, 2022.

Dr. Dalea Bean


Dr. Bean joins the Mona Unit after 15+ years at The University of the West Indies and IGDS. She has researched extensively on women and gender in Caribbean history, conflict situations, education, and tourism. With a Ph.D. in History, she has 20+ years of teaching experience and has developed various programs. Dr. Bean has published extensively, including books and articles on gender and development. She contributes to secondary education through the Caribbean Examination Council and serves on multiple boards. She is a passionate advocate for gender and youth, co-founding the foundation “I Have Pretty Hair.”

Dr. Yehudit Salfati

Dr. Yehudit Salfati is a lecturer at Hemada Academic College of Education and Kaye Academic College of Education. In her role, she assists master’s degree students in their thesis work and guides them through the writing process. Additionally, she guides students in writing seminar papers within the Department of Education and Psychology at the Open University. Dr. Salfati also guides teachers and students at the Center Simulation for Education. Her research primarily focuses on the field of teacher preparation.
